Golden fried pork chops are simple to make. They are packed with big mouthwatering flavor that is sure to please the most finicky meat eater!
Ingredients
  • 4 thin cut bone-in pork chops
  • Paprika, garlic powder, salt, dried parsley, and pepper
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Season each side of the pork chops with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the flour on a paper plate, parchment paper or in a shallow container.
  3. Add garlic powder, dried parsley, paprika, pepper to the flour. (Add as much or less according to your taste).
  4. Mix the seasoning with the flour.
  5. Dip the pork chops into the flour mixture, coating both sides in the flour. Shake the excess flour from the pork chop.
  6. Pour enough vegetable oil into a large skillet completely covering the bottom of the pan. Bring the oil temperature to 350 degrees (use a meat thermometer if needed) frying two or more pork chops at a time. Do not overcrowd the skillet this helps the pork chops to become crisp.
  7. Fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then turn and cook 2-3 minutes more until done (golden brown).
